We shot Matt and Aimees wedding on quite possibly the most GLORIOUS October day in Traverse City.  These two were so sweet and their families were amazing!  A wonderful celebration for a great couple.  The details and flowers were exquisite, so I had to share more than the norm, please forgive!  The leaves were at peak color and I have NEVER seen anything quite like it, it was breathtaking! Congratulations to you both, a few of my favorites!

The original post was somehow deleted, so I am frantically reloading it for all to see!  Ben and Tara are two of the most wonderful people I've ever had the pleasure of knowing.  This was a CRAZY FUN party and I loved capturing EVERY bit of it.  A few of my favorites!  

I've known Jean and her family for A LONG TIME, so it was no surprise that this was quite the party!!!!  Jean looked absolutley stunning!  We decided to do all of the photos before, seeing each other first on the porch of her families home.  It was really moving and so nice to capture a wonderful moment on those steps.   Anyways, blah blah blah.... Carl and I had a wonderful time and I feel so honored to know this family and now to have captured a memory they will cherish forever!  Thank you Petts family for your friendship and Jean and Cory I wish you all the happiness in the world.   Never stop being amazed at the power of love and commitment, it can take you places you never imagined your heart could go.   I can't wait to photograph babies someday, oh sorry, I'm getting a head of myself....a few of my faves!  BIG HUGS AND KISSES TO YOU BOTH!

 

 

 

No matter how you voted, its a great day to be an American.  The belief that you can be, do, achieve anything you set your mind to has never been so clear and true.  I hope we can all unite as a nation and bring this country to its feet and stand tall.  i know some of my wonderful clients attended the Grant Park festivities last night, how lucky you must feel to have been a part of history.  The photo below is courtesy of The Chicago Tribune.
