It is sooooo late but I must get this last AMAZING wedding blogged before I crash, so forgive me if this is short and sweet.  LOVE LOVE LOVE these two.  I have had so much fun getting to know them over the last year and a half.  They have such joy and are SO in love, they are just perfect for one another.  The wedding was held on Lake St. Clair and the groom arrived by boat people and made the long trek down the dock (without falling in the water, which I would've done) to wait for his bride.  It was just beautiful.  The "sweet" reference referred to the fact that Brittanys dad is a dentist and she is in dental school and they had CANDY EVERYWHERE!  So here is the last post for the evening, enjoy.  I wish you both a lifetime of happiness and I look forward to hanging out together soon!

Gorgeous wedding, delicious food, breathtaking bride all part of a recipe for the perfect day!   I was so excited to be a part of this wedding, I knew that it would be lovely and it was absolutley that.  Stephen and Heather live in New York, and Stephen is the executive chef for The Tribeca Grill, so food and wine were definitley the other guests at this wedding.  With the help of staff from the restaurant and the chef at Orchard Lake Country Club, the feast that was prepared was INCREDIBLE.  Thank you both for making me feel like family, it really was quite the honor to capture your special day.  I can't wait to visit you both in New York soon.

Its late and I have 3 big new posts to get up here, so I will keep my chatting brief.  Tom and Niki had the very emotional experience of having an outdoor wedding with thunderstorms creeping in and out.  They were so brave and decided to just wait it out and they were TOTALLY right!  It stopped just long enough for the ceremony and then started up again right when we came in for cocktails.  Then as the main course was served, low and behold a RAINBOW.  Ok not your typical "oh yeah I can kind of see it", this was CRAYOLA beautiful right there before our eyes in FULL COLOR!   They went from having really cool umbrella photos, to having the most beautiful moody light photos with reflective sidewalks (my fave) and just wonderful solar flares.  Tom and Niki thank you so much for allowing me to be a part of your PERFECT day!  Rain brings good luck and we saw it with our own eyes that day.  May you have a lifetime of rainbows.  

Happy Fall!  I can't believe that October is already here, nearing the end of another AMAZING season (Nov 29th is the last event for 2008).  As I try to catch up on blogging, I'd just thought I'd give you a heads up as to whats next and whats coming soon.

Wedding blog posts will happen on Tuesday evenings. Set to lauch this week,  Heather and Stephens "scrumptious"  wedding,  Nikki and Toms "colorful" wedding,  Chris and Brittanys "sweet" wedding (you'll get the "keywords" when I post their images I promise).  Then the following week we'll have Jennifer and DJs wedding, Judth and Chris' wedding and Emily and Justins wedding.  I've had ALOT of requests to see all of these weddings, so I just wanted to give everyone a heads up as to when you'll get a sneak peek!  Enjoy this beautiful fall weekend.  If you like what you see, please post a comment underneath each entry.  I LOVE to know what people are thinking, its always fun for the couples to read comments about their weddings too. Miss Sara had her Bat Mitzvah at the Skyline Club.  I was so excited to shoot this because I knew it was going to be SO fun and boy oh boy, I was not disappointed.  Marci and Alex, the parents of this amazing young woman, threw a most incredible party with the theme of PAY IT FORWARD.  I know how excited they are to see some of the great shots we got that evening, so I just had to share a few.  Thanks for your patience guys!  I hope it was worth the wait!  Thank you so much for allowing me to be a part of your celebration!
