This past weekend I had the pleasure of shooting Hallie and Jed's amazing wedding in Palm Beach Florida at the Brazilian Court Hotel.  Seeing that her mother is event planner Beth Lipin, I knew it would be exquisite! H +J are so much fun to be around and I'm thrilled that I was asked to come and spend time with them and their closest friends and family, to capture such a special event in their lives.  The amazing "dream team" that her mother assembled was so fabulous to work with.   I decided that I wanted to bring along a friend to help because I knew there would be alot to cover, so my amazingly talented photographer, dearest friend, Kristen Taylor,  agreed to go with me as a second shooter.   The fabulous cake and cupcake favor were prepared with love by the wonderful Michelle Bommarito.   The paper products, from the sweet custom napkins that changed at every event, to the save the date and the weekend planner were all produced by the talented Lysa Poore from Demby and Solomon.  All of the elegant floral designs and arrangements were created by the extraordinary Phillip Sherman and Tami Gorham.  

It really was a gorgeous weekend and it all started out with a gorgeous poolside welcome dinner at the Colony Hotel in Palm Beach given by Jed's parents.   Here are a few images from the dinner:

The wedding day was perfect in every way!  Thank you Beth, Hallie and Jed for inviting me to be a part of your celebration, it was truly an honor.   There are SOOOOO many gorgeous images to share with all of you, I've just selected a little snippet.  Enjoy a few of my favorites and thank you both again for making me feel like family!  I truly LOVED meeting all of your amazing friends and family.

Again, another LATE post...Toni and John were amazing to work with.  We had a lot of fun despite the rainy day outside that prevented any outdoor photography, whaaaaa!!!!  I think we still were able to capture fabulous images!  This was quite the party with 300 guests that danced and sang the whole night.  I hope you both know how much I appreciate you trusting me and for welcoming Carl and I in like family!  Thank you also to the GORGEOUS Amy and Justin, who referred this fantastic couple to me.  It is always nice to see previously photographed couples at other weddings, it makes it just that much more special!!!  Kisses to all of you! xoxo!  Without further ado...

I had the pleasure of shooting Matthew and Elizabeths wedding a month ago tomorrow.  It was a perfectly overcast day, full of wonderful friends and family.  The ceremony and reception took place at The Rattlesnake Club, which is somewhere I have wanted to shoot for like EVER!  So I was thrilled to finally get an opportunity to photograph a wedding there, the food was AMAZING and the atmosphere was such a nice change of pace.  Amy Englebert is the catering manager there and is just a pleasure to work with!  She was actually a bridesmaid in a wedding I shot a few months ago (chris and brittany). ANYWAY...have you ever met a couple that when they look at one another you just know how much they care for each other?  these 2 were just so adorable, I remember shooting their engagement portrait last year and their eyes said so much about what their hearts were feeling and it came thru so clearly in the photos.  Really just amazing!  Thank you both for allowing me to capture your day, spirit and all.  I look forward to seeing you again!  A few of my faves from your day!  For all you photogs out there; I tried a few new post production processes with my black and whites, leave a comment below and let me know what you think!  Enjoy!

Kevin and Liz are soooo much fun and I had been looking forward their to their wedding for SOOOOO LONG!!!  They were actually the first ones to book my services upon starting my own studio, so that was awhile ago.  An absolutley beautiful first of fall day on the Detroit River was the setting for a magical celebration long in the making.  I wish you both the happiness you so deserve, thank you for always treating me like family, its been so fun getting to know you both.  A few of my favorites from your day!

This beautiful wedding was on the STORMIEST day of the wedding season.  It rained more than I have seen in a long time.  I NEVER once heard them complain.  They were willing to venture out into the pounding rain and not worry about mud or frogs, they were such troopers.    Thank you both so much for trusting me, I love all of the images we got that day, here are just a few of my faves!
